He's a seek and destroy guy...We will see him getting hit many more times he just does'nt care he breaks guys down over time...He will never be a defensive wizzard his best defence is an high and heavy offensive output.

Thats Joe Calzaghe work rate. Little more on GGG's punches, than Joe's slaps.

    Calzaghe was much faster, though.

He has a better defense than Ruslan Provodnikov as a pressure fighter.

Calm down. They were mostly timid Klitschko type jabs. He was scared of that midgets power.

Klitschko's jab is the most fearsome weapon in the heavyweight division.

And thats why he, at times, stood infront of Stevens only to take bombs and wait for Stevens to stop so he could throw his own.

Haha anyone has better defense than provodnikov, his defence IS his face, which of course can take a great punch. That being said GGG has the potential to improve his defence. He has some alright ability to slip, block, control distance and I even saw some shoulder rolling against Stevens. If he developed his defence in conjunction with his offence, he would be a very very well rounded and effective pressure fighter. His chin did seem to be quite solid but he still shouldn't rely on it if he plans on moving up to 168 to fight the likes of Ward, Chavez Jr, Froch etc.

Sanchez gave him a 7/10. Said he wasn't patient enough, didn't make great choices in punch selection, fought mad cause he wanted to hurt Stevens.

Happy, Peaceful Golovkin would probably have a lower output and a more measured approach. He happens to get mad at "too much talk"... we should get him Mayorga.

And he has power. Michael Moorer was like that in his prime.
