Unlikely. I think he does have a decent shot at beating any of the current strapholders at 168 but logistically the odds are way against him actually getting the chance to fight for all the trinkets unless we get a unified champ at 168 which is frankly improbable without a real standout in the division. I used to think maybe Degale could edge it but now I'm extremely doubtful. Regardless though I'd still like to see GGG vs Degale, Jack or Zurdo just for the sake of the fights themselves.

he could collect all 4 168 belts in the same night via knockout and hell still never be the man at 168....cause he ducked a fight with the 168 kingpin....he ran away from ward like he was booking it out of pulse nightclub

I think GGG is too old to unify a second division, the title holders would duck him for years just like the belt holders did in the MW division. If he does unify a second division he'd one of the top ATG's

    Let's see...
He mandatory to Sturm for 5 yrs and only got his SUPER distinction when Geale edged Sturm.
Was mandatory to Martinez, Cotto and Canelo and only got his WBC title when after nearly 4 yrs, the WBC finally enforced a date.
He got a break with Lemieux and the IBF, and it does appear that K2 is trying to buy a fight with BJS, both in feeding Bursak to him, and by trying to buy into a co-promote contract with Khurtsidze to get GGG and enforceable mandate for BJS.
Hopefully BJS takes the fight directly after bursak, but we could still be looking at 2017 for that to come off.

What makes us believe that 3.5 mil is enough for Jack, DeGale, Smith, Zurdo or Sturm to get their shiit pushed in.

He can't force em to fight at 160.
What leads us to think they'll voluntarily commit suicide so quick at 168

Poor GGG will be 75 before all the *****s at 160 and 168 even agree to fight him. I think he could do it if he got the chance but he won't get that chance unfortunately. They all say they want to fight GGG but really they wanna milk their one title for easy money and easy defenses.

ward was gifted a tournament where he was given hometown advantage against guys he outweighed by 5/10 lbs and refused to allow Bute into his tournament.
Ishiida ktfo Kirkland, fought even with PWilly and won a minor title, never made demands and fought several of the best fighter in several weight classes.

Ward never held more than 2 of the SMW titles.
He beat only one titlist decisively.
His narrow points win over Kessler made Wlads 6KD 12/0 rout of Potvetkin look like a clean fight.

2 yrs after beating Froch decisively, Froch was the man at the weight.
    GGG rightfully targeted the man.

His days being drug thru it by Ward ended when K2 sent Roc a public offer and gave certain terms for Golovkin to meet ward at 166/168.

You can get away with saying he overpriced himself, but he didn't duck.

And...it might be when they're both past it, but so long as Ward isn't massacred by Kovalev, well get GGG v Ward at 172 in a couple yrs.

lolol....you have a future in standup comedy! look out louis ck!

ward didnt need a silly ibf strap for everyone to recognize him as the man at 168! thats why i find lil gs career so funny...desperately trying to hang on to some garbage ibf title, and defend it, for some reason...even though everyone recognizes him as the man at 160....but we know the reason...its easy for lil g to hide behind it...hes got his lil minions brainwashed when he fights dom wade "its a mandatory defense guys relax cut lil g some slack no reason to bag on him its a mandated defense and he needs that belt"

ward getting massacred by kovalev is the only way lil g ever goes near him..lol

    LOLOL

it would be cool if he could. I wouldn't put it past 3g but he'd have to get amove on, hes 34...and his best effort is danny geale so far. dannys not proof he can be undisputed in one division...although he is close to being that already surely.

When Ward dares to be great and fights abroad against a quality opponent or finally finds the courage to fights Kovalev I'll take him seriously.

He hasn't done anything worth talking about since Froch and that was almost 5 years ago.

5 years and yet people talk like he has dominated boxing for a decade. Ward is not a star, can't sell out big arena's and has a tiny fanbase.

Ward is talented but we are talking about a man who is living on past glory and seems very reluctant to actually fight anybody who poses real danger.
