The repeat only brought in 500,000k. You can't add time slots. Any show that's peaking close to a mil is good.
not really impressed. unfortunately, theres no other fight to compare to given the fighters and logistics involved. maybe the numbers are great for a non american fighter fighting a brit on a saturday afternoon. how did viewership in england compare with other big fights?
Repeat was closer to 600k, but that's nit picking. It's tough to find the perfect number to use here- at least a couple hundred thousand were unique viewera that didn't watch until evening, but we won't know how much. I won't add them all together, but that number isn't zero, either. All in all, pretty good but not earth-shattering.
I'm not necessarily comparing anything. I simply corrected the fellow who stated Ward-Barrera did 743K, and posted both official numbers as courtesy to him.
So UK PPV numbers matched US viewing numbers? Either Hearn is brilliant at promoting a fight or HBO really did not capitalise on future marketing of GGG (and by proxy a future Canelo fight). Regardless of the 5pm time slot, it is still sloppy work by HBO. Dummy brain washing on FOX gets 10,000,000 viewers mid-day right?
suprising lack of hate so far. feels a bit odd g-string,bumlovkin, triple b-side, mister mongo, the bum basher is still the b side
Very impressive PPV numbers here in the UK and that's decent figures for a fight at that time in the US. Now, Let's see what Smith Vs Canelo does here in the UK and over there in the US.
