Given that Brook outweighed GGG at the last weigh in, this fight may not be a mismatch in terms of weight at all. I know they said Brook was a big WW, but this is ridiculous. That said, he's never been in with somebody like Golovkin, and I don't expect him to win.

    It's mismatch and won't go 5 rounds.

Brook is getting TKO'D (HBO's TKO "Streak" storyline continues)

brook is used to being the bigger man in the ring and bossing around cab drivers

now he will be against a more powerful fighter and will get killed

brook couldn't even put down porter, thruman hurt porter and broner dropped porter. so him being this power puncher is a myth

also with the added weight he will be slow as snails

Couldn't outbox Porter? He handled him pretty well, easier than Thurman did. In fact, I think he outboxed Porter easier than Mayweather outboxed and even cruder Maidana.

People get blinded by pressure. I thought Porter was shocking.

Yep. Only one man in that fight was doing clean work. Porter made it a s****py affair by bull-rushing in and trying to unsettle Brook.

Brook will lose this fight because he's not big enough, not because he's not skilled enough. Most all Ingle fighters have good fundamentals and excellent footwork. They're not even allowed in a ring to box until they've run the lines and got their footwork down.

I think is will be an exciting fight while it lasts, but Golovkin will knock Brook out, Rick Hatton said that he felt sorry for Brook.............he does pick Golovkin, so does Saunders.

Brook is definitely a very good fighter and also would be by far the best victory of GGG's career to date. That said, I feel GGG just holds all the advantages and it is hard to visualise Brook beating him. But this is boxing.. stranger things have happened.

You talk ****e. Porter is a walking cuts hazard who bores in with his head and fights like a Tasmanian devil, Brook handled him with immense composure and skill away from home. Thurman was nowhere near as efficient as Kell. GGG will not fight like that and it will be more at range but the impressive thing about Kell is he is willing to fight on the inside if needed. Porter has only one way, Brook multiple ways.

This fight is a hard sell, there is no amount of spin that can refute it. Brook is an excellent WW, either 1 or 2 (yes I rank him over Manny and Bradley) and he is a massive WW. But he's not a JMW (yet), and he isn't a MW. This fight deserves the criticism it gets. There are a number of JMWs (large JMWs) that are clammoring for a Gololvkin fight. There are SMW's (large SMWs) clammoring for a Golovkin fight. There was no need for this fight to be made. Period.

Brook had a hard time with Carson Jones' educated pressure at WW in their first fight. Brook won, but had a hard time with Porter's pressure at WW. But he's gonna fight the top MW pressure fighter of the last 10 years and not struggle? Give me a break.
