i guarantee that would not be the case if ggg had retired 5 years ago. can you imagine the ridiculous amount of hype eubank jr would be getting if ggg did not exist? you remove the soul crushing spankings ggg has been dishing out, and you get the group of untested talents at 147.

murray fought for a world title 4 times and lost, macklin 3 times and lost. murray stevens and macklin havent won a title nor will they. geale flooked a title and lost it straight away and lemiuex is an ok fighter but has a suspect chin. None are better than shawn porter, ofcourse they are bigger but they are not better fighers. Golovkins best win is lemiuex, a man who was stopped by rubio and beat by alcine...

why would eubank jnr be getting hyped? he lost to billy joe, his name has value because of his dad and nothing more. did you mean untested talents at 160? the 160 division is poor, billy joe and jacobs are decent after that its pretty dire

Not defending the fight but Brook is leagues ahead of those guys in skill. Porter is also.a far better fighter than Lemieux.

The way a past prime Cotto destroyed Geale told us all we need to know about the state of the MW division.

How come they haven't made a segment of "the gloves are off" for ggg/brook yet?

    I love those face-off videos.

I have a feeling this will be one of the best fights of the year.

Brook is not a small fighter like Khan. He's not chinny like Khan either. He didn't move up from 135. This guy is huge and have a feeling he didn't sign the Vargas fight because he couldn't make the 147 weightclass. He was walking around 180 when he signed to fight GGG.

If Brook carry his weigh well, and I have a strong feeling he will given how shredded he was at 176, this is going to be a tough competitive fight for GGG.

GGG could very well knock him out within a few rounds, but it wouldn't shock me if Brook go the distance and even possibility win a decision.

It will not even be close to one of the best fights of the year. It is going to be a domination.

Yep, the same Cotto who dropped zombie Geale with a great headbutt combo.

It's not a bad fight. It's a mw titlist against a ww titlist. There will be a weight difference and size difference. Can Brook put it together? I don't know. GG is not Porter. He's a lot bigger and trying to clinch might be his undoing. We will see.

No matter what ggg does it wont be enough.hagler struggling against former lw duran was a great win, beating ww hearns was a great win, losing to leonard after a 5 year lay off and now tune up didnt diminish him.yet ggg has the cheek to take a fight vs undefeated brook just because canello ducked the fight (and well within his rights after having the cheek to want it at 160,(canello still a warrior) and hes ducking lhw ward and kovalev) is a fraud.
Pac was the same, pac****s,u know the ones who pay money to watch a waste of space boring fraudulent pac when they could watch the warrior that is floyd and get their moneys worth 😂

Taking consideration all the hype and surprising turns that took place in the negotions and plus Brooks weight at 30 day weight in, it´s possible Brook has been preparing for this fight for the last 4 months already.

If that is the case, Brook might surprise us all by going to later rounds. His powet might be better than we are expecting. I don´t see 147 pound Brook having better footwork so only way to raise the odds is to get stronger.
