Really interesting match up. Golovkin was weaponless in the third Alvarez fight until Canelo ran out of energy in round nine. At that time GGG was finally able to get to Alvarez. On the other hand, by the time the Crawford fight came along Alvarez was pretty much shot the whole fight just as he was the fight before against William Scull. Golovkin wins this via comfortable decision, 116-112.
Shot Canelo vs shot GGG. At this point, I will take Golovkin because he was actually able to turn it around late, whereas Canelo just got outhustled all night. On the other hand if Canelo looks brilliant in his next fight then maybe it was Crawford being too much for him simple as that. But I'm thinking ginger is cooked right now.
Realistically Canelo. GGG never beat him, Canelo will get the decision, but he doesn't need a robbery here, GGG was too shot
The only thing i completely disagree with you on is "GGG" never beat him. Of coarse GGG beat him and everybody knows it. Canelo beat him once when GGG was 40.
Canelo still had a lot more left, I think he can still beat world champions today, Golovkin was done. I can’t remember how I had the actual fight, probably at best, I give this Canelo 8-4 but realistically wider.
Canelo beats GGG on the judges scorecards no matter how much Canelo gets battered. In reality, this would be a sad and pointless boxing match.
