When is someone going to justify this 65 million Canelo is asking for?

 

I'm not saying exactly what they both should earn, but it sounds like simple supply and demand to me. Canelo's career is still all there in front of him. What's in front of GGG? Right now it looks like even more mediocre fights, and even more relatively mediocre paydays. I respect how adamant GGG is to be a 160 fighter and nothing else. But while he maintains that attitude the only mega-fight on the horizon is if Canelo decides to move up in weight. GGG is playing poker with a terrible hand as far as this fight is concerned.

 

His opponents and not just Eubanks but Jacobs the fact that he wanted it on PPV is a crazy demand and why did it take several months to make,there's a vid where Jacobs tells the world about the fight is on and he says sorry for it taking so long as he had some things that needed sorting,I think its ridiculous that this fight never got made for December.

 

Real talk I was split on the Jacobs situation. On one hand I feel like Danny is really a nobody so to get a chance to fight for 3 world title's he should jump at it. At the same time GGG has beaten nobody of note while Danny isn't great he's better than what we've gotten so far from GG so if it takes giving a little more to get a better oopponent Golovkin should do it.

 

In fairness Dren if GBP would just offer a percentage as what normally happens in these big fights then we'd know exactly what is what. These flat offers for the fight aren't helping anyone.

It makes it look like GBP are trying to stiff K2 whether they are or they aren't.

Lets be realistic here, if Alvarez is over valuing himself, which means you think he's not worth what he's demanding, then why is Golovkin literally begging someone who, in your own words, isn't worth that much to begin with for a payday?. I'm afraid Oscars and Canelos actions have not supported even the idea of a fight with Golovkin,when Canelo was the lineal champion of the division and made the WBC very happy as they made him mandatory for Golovkin,Canelo then after beating Khan gives his famous speech and then drops the belt days later and moves out of the division by a pound.
