Stop with the Pacquiao/Mayweather revenue comparison.
You can compare this fight to Cotto/Canelo or Cotto/Pacquiao.
In my opinion, I believe a 30 - 35% for GGG and 60 - 65% to Canelo would be fair.

I'm not comparing this fight to Pacquiao-Mayweather. I am saying that this is the biggest fight SINCE Pacquiao-Mayweather. Just nitpicking here, but Pacquiao did NOT have the backing of Mexicans --- Mexicans disliked him on account of JMM.

You have your opinion, I have mine. I say it does 1.5 minimum.

Dude, you have no idea. Mexicans like Pacquiao more than Canelo, you need to watch Golpe a Golpe and other Mexican boxing shows to know they love Pacquiao.

Heck, they like GGG more than Canelo.

My opinion is based on facts and trends, look at the Canelo vs Smith and Kovalev/Ward fights. It's not a good sign for PPV and Canelo brings the most PPV's.

    :risas3: Nope !!!

    1. First rejection... 8 million dollar flat fee

    2. 2nd rejection... 8 million dollar offer with some undefined PPV percentage

    3. 3rd rejection... 10 million dollar offer

    4. 4th rejection... 15 million dollar flat fee

Waiting for 5th offer... then expect another rejection.

:eyebrow2: K2/GGG want a percentage contract... no LOW BALL FLAT FEE !!!

There's something to be said that Golovkin by not taking what was said at first a 10 million offer, GBP increased the offer to 15 million. This is negotiating not ducking.

:risas3: O$car is a proven scheming con-artist... shown by almost doubling GBP's original 8 million dollar offer with the latest offer being 15 million. When GBP made the 10 million dollar offer,

Ole Cocaine O$car told the World...

this is his BEST OFFER... GGG can TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT !!!

:bandit: Gotta admire O$car's way with words !

I think that he is right, this fight is gonna be promoted and promoted vigorously by Oscar. GBP will spend a lot of money doing it and Oscar wants to recoup on that plus make a pile on the fight. If K2 assumes some of the promotional responsibilities then they will make it a little easier for Oscar to come off his hard stance, but either way GGG shouldn't fold for the 15 because there is quite a bit more to be made for him.

You just don't do YOUR HOMEWORK !

Four rejections is greater than TWO !!!

    :clapclap: GGG/K2 haven't DUCKED anything...

They just sit back & let.... wait for it...

:bandit: Cocaine O$car bid AGAINST HIMSELF !!!

canelo may have the upper hand in business/money negotiations but ggg should have the say in boxing fight negotiations.

Then why doesn't Canelos team simply offer a fixed % fee. It would mean less risk for them than paying GGG a flat 15 million no?

Lance_Uppercut?, aren't you the 60 year old fruitcake from Alaska who obsesses over Margarito's juicy handwraps?. Ahaha, I'd be avoiding any discussions related to life in every way possible if I were you, grandpa.

I'm hardly surprised you're a fan of yet another fighter who's living off nothing but pure hype. From Margarito to Golovkin, major upgrade for an old fart like you. Remember back when you used to claim Margarito deserves paydays for beating Andrew "Six Heads Zero Chins" Lewis?. Not surprised you think the same of Golovkin for beating his share of hopeless bums too.
