I don't know. I thought he carried him a little bit, having grabbed command of the range right of the gate.

You have previously claimed that Kovalev could have stopped Hopkins had he done what he did in the 12th earlier, and I disagree with that, because I believe the main reason Kovalev was able to get to Hopkins in the final round was because he finally opened up and took a few risks, which enabled the onslaught that concluded the fight.

But in this case, I truly believe GGG could have opened up as early as the 2nd or 3rd and blasted Lemieux out.

It was a good display by Golovkin regardless, but I think he let the fight go longer than needed, much in the same way that I believe Vitali carried Adamek a bit.

This is what happens when people don't correctly gauge how a fight will play out, instead of admit they were wrong they say something ridiculous to cover up. This fight played out very much the way I thought it would. We actually saw a level from G never before seen, solid proof of no carrying involved.

It may look like that compare to his other fights. I think ggg strategy was to slowly bring doubt to lemieux mind of his chances to land the big punch without being hurt himself.

Lemieux wobbled his legs on at least one occasion. GGG said himself he felt his power. He knew Lemieux had that power and that's why he fought cautiously, as any intelligent boxer would in that scenario. GGG made Lemieux look a lot worse than he is. He didn't have a way to combat that jab.

This wasn't that kind of fight where one carried the other. Monroe Jr was, Wilder's Molina fight was, but this wasn't. GGG would take out DL early if he could, he didn't want to risk a huge counter before he wore DL down. Nothing in this fight indicated to me that GGG prolonged it.

So you call trannies, girls now? Time for you to find a new sport. ...And you think Lemieux has a gay haircut?? Not as gay as banging a girl with a *****.

GGG displays a different side to his skill set and the haters are all like "Why you no trade punches, GGG? I wanted to mock your defense and boxing skills on ESB. ****."

    I agree.

When was the last fight where GGG lost 2-3 rounds? Everyone focuses on his power, but he has good boxing skills for sure.

That may be what he's doing, but I see no reason why I'd favor Lemieux over guys like the Murray, Macklin, or Geale that Golovkin fought. The mere fact that this was a unification fight doesn't mean it was automatically the best opponent he's taken on.
