It was a call back to a comment I made about him saying he'd finally came out of the re**** closet on one of his Khan threads a few days ago.

And yeah GGG carried David a little bit but not to avoid embarrassment storyline the TS gave but to avoid getting caught with something big and being dropped on his first PPV, he boxed cautiously with David just like he did with Stevens, why risk getting KO'd when you can outbox them with ease and pile up the damage safely with only his jab and stop them that way. In the end it made him even scarier proving he's the well rounded fighter all of us keep saying he is.

Probably. Most in the know knew it would be a massive mismatch.
His style played into 3G's strengths.

His basic come forward movement made it one of his easiest fights.

He had no jab , he had no right hand either. His foot work was terrible and he had no upper body movement.

Coming forward like that , you would expect him to bend at the waist , slip from side to side instead of bobbin up and down like a yo-yo.
3G exposed him for the B leveller he always was.

Pavlik would have had him outa there by the 4th round.

gigi didn't expose lemieux of anything, the only thing he exposed was the fact that he was the better fighter. lemieux would still probably knock everyone else out in devastating fashion including canelo and cotto

    Stop talking about me stupid.

I posted many times how the fight was going to be a one sided mismatch. Post about the sport and not about me. Be gone now. Forever and ever.

Anyone with common sense already knew this fight was a farce David is C level at best and really didn't even have a puncher's chance here. I like David but it is what it is. This fight had no business being on PPV and the GGG apologist have no shame instead of just being real and calling it like it is, they said how great it was for boxing that this fight would be Hagler-Hearns all over a can't miss fight, pathetic.:-(

I didnt even watch the fight live. I watched it the day after.

It was so obvious that it was a huge missmatch. As people are saying, lemieux is C level fighter. Plus, he only has power in the first 3-4 (maybe 5 if you push me hard) first rounds, after that he's a dummy.

Not the same playing cautious with pacman or maidana or canelo as playing cautious with no-skill-at-all lemieux. Though, I think he executed his gameplan perfectly, nothing bad to say about gigi, perfect fight.

Can't we just get rid of the word "carried" from boxing because it's absolutely stupid since we know the best way to build your brand is to get rid of your opponent as quickly as possible, and since it's utterly disrespectful to the opponent? Huh, is it possible for people to use their heads and realize Tyson, Pac, Hagler, Tito etc. did not build their names by carrying their opponents and Floyd was not liked for "carrying" his opponents. Tyson got rid of his opponents in the first round many times, guess what, people bought more the next time. So lets' quit with the blatant stupidity people and just remove the stain that is the word carry from your vocabulary.
