I truly believe if Canelo played hard ball Golovkin would have caved, but as it is he held his nerve and got a better deal. The money never jeopardised the fight.

More rewarding is seeing BJS get stiffed, the way he pulled out against Murray was disgraceful and reminds me of when Khan refused to face anyone thinking he had the Mayweather fight in the bag.

I agree. I think the controversy helps sell the second fight. On the one hand, Canelo fans want to see him vindicated. On the other, his detractors want to see him punished. And casuals are going to get sucked into the soap opera.
