Golovkin Deserves More Than 11 Million For The Canelo Fight

I agree with this.. take 10 million and some of the PPV upside which will be huge, to get the fight done. If that's what it takes to shut his GGGOONS mouths up, **** it, get it done.

 

He took a lot less than Floyd to make the fight and he's fought the better opposition than GG.

Yeah this is true,it just doesn't work that way,I mean look at Canelos last fight v Liam Smith it broke a record held by Manny and Margarito in gate nos showing that bad publicity is good publicity if you get what I mean.
At the end of the day fans from either camp on forums aren't to be trusted in telling it straight as they want to believe anything,Chavez Snr told it right when he said Canelos been ducking GGG and GGG is ducking from the challenge of fighting those at 168.

Keith Thurman also said it's too bad for the fans who want the fight right away and as I remember there were those on here thinking Thurman would duck that fight,it's not been that long and if Canelo does have two "tune up fights at 160" then quite honestly there's nothing anyone can say to that and a fight next fall between the two best matched fighters is something to look forward to.
I just hope that K2 aren't thinking about a 55/45 split though as that's not gonna happen as Canelo at his age is no rush,70/30 is where I reckon the fight should get made and if Golovkin wins he can look to get more favourable terms in a re match just like Nate Diaz did v McGregor.

 

It may be true but I doubt it was made 30 days ago as its not consistent with what both were saying then,if you need a reminder Oscar was saying how Canelo needed to grow into his body at 160 which is fair enough he should have a few tune ups,Canelo at the same time was saying the more Golovkin and his team keep on talking the less likelyhood of a fight between them.

Does that sound like a promoter and fighter waiting for a response from an offer?
