Even a dehydrated GGG has more boxing IQ and beats Canelo in every dept except speed. It'd be a very, very close fight that could go either ways. A real 50-50 fight and might end up like Leonard-Hagler. Floyd has the skills just not the ballz.

I don't think Floyd would do to Canelo what he did to Canelo a couple years ago anymore, much less to GGG.

You smokin' that good Humboldt chit, vato. :smoke

Possibly. I can also see GGG knocking Floyd out really badly.

But I don't see why a welterweight should have to fight the middleweight champion. Shouldn't all champions do their best to beat all the best fighters in their weight class?

GGG should fight Andy Lee, Kid Chocolate, Chris Eubank and BJS, not a welterweight. I personally think Eubank has a very good chance to beat him, but those other guys have a decent chance too.

And Floyd should fight Keith Thurman (if 147) or Erislandy Lara (if 154).

GGG is way better than Canelo. He has way more power and better footwork for starters.

Do you think mayweather vs ggg would be a similar scoreline or would it be wider?

I think that Mayweather definitely has a chance at 154

I don't think Golovkin can make 154 comfortably despite what he and his camp say

Well Mayweather might be quick enough with his handspeed and footwork to make it interesting, but it would probably end up being a snoozefest because FLoyd would not fight Golovkin in the pocket at any point. Any shots from him would probably only come with him in perpetual movement.

There's several variables, especially at what weight they'd meet at. If it's at 160, a stiff jab from Golovkin could potentially stun him. I see him throw regular shots at MW's that stun them a lot more than it seems like they should, which lets me know how heavy handed he is.

At 154, who knows what Golovkin would like from both a power and stamina position. It would be an incredibly dangerous fight for a 38 year old boxer to sign up for.
