Why is has to be at 164 catchweight??? Wasnt ggg ready to fight either froch or chavez jr at 168 pounds but you and ggg himself want ward to lose 4 pounds to fight ggg?? If ggg is a very dangerous ko machine then why not fight ward at 168 pounds????

    Nope. Hell no.

He wanted to fight Froch at 68, Chavez at 68.

So Ward needs to be at 68 or no fight.

I listen to the one you say to look which was around 7 minutes. I guess ggg dont have the confident to beat ward since he said he'll fight ward but it has to be at 164 pounds? LMFAO!!!

So that means ggg should call the shots by saying he'll fight ward but at 164 pound catchweight?????? GGG was willing to fight either chavez jr or froch at 168 pounds but not vs ward?? Why is that??????

    Sounds perfectly rational to me.

He put it real simple. Take it as you want.

Golovkin will go way down in weight to 154 for a big PPV fight (Mayweather).

Golovkin will go way up in weight to 168 for a big PPV fight (Froch, formerly Chaves Jr).

Golovkin would fight Ward at 168 if Ward became a big draw and make Golovkin/Ward a big PPV fight like against Mayweather or Froch.

However, that isn't the case. Ward does not present a big PPV fight. Ward lost his draw factor, lost negotiating powers he may have had 3 years ago; therefore, 164.

This is pathetic stuff from GGG, he is obviously scared of Ward.

Yeah we all know Ward ain't ever gonna take this fight at 64. No need to even talk about this.

Why does Andre Ward not come down then? Golovkin is smaller than Ward, the catch weight seems reasonable. I am sure Golovkin fears Wards knock out power

And Ward will counter with the following:

Give me 3 years to decide
Fight has to be in Oakland
    Fight at weight I demand
Fight has to be in Oakland
Let me get my promotional priorities straight
    Fight takes place in Oakland
90/10 split in favor of Team Ward
    Fight takes place in Oakland
