    A 7000 attendance doesn't really mean they were all bought though.
    I'm sure anywhere from 10-30% were corporate give aways.

    To justify Gotto's large numbers in NY some fool stated it was because of NY's large PR base.
    If that statement has merit then why does the same not when it is used for Golovkin and NY's Russian/Jewish population, especially when it far exceeds that of Puerto Ricans? :smoke

    They are very likely more prevalent than Puerto Rican Jews. :yep

    But in New York, the Jewish population is dominated by ASHKENAZI Jews, and the origin of ASHKENAZI Jews is in the Russia and the regions surrounding it.

    New York's ASHKENAZI Jewish population far exceed that of all NY Puerto Ricans combined, x4.

    Not saying that Golovkin has no Puerto Rican fan base, but like NY's general population, it probably is significantly less than his Russian fan base.

    I can't remember which fighter (think it was Berto) but there was an 957 attendance with something like less than 100 paid. Crazy ****.

    LOL. Don't know the details about that.
    All I know is DC like Maryland is a boxing town with fans willing and able to pay the gate.
    Plus, BHOP being a VP for GBP with P&L responsibility as well as a deep undercard to pay makes 30% seem like an excessive estimate.
