    This is a good fight for Daniel. Nobody will be predicting him to win (he's in with a chance) and if he does lose then the then current ibf champion will see him as damaged & fancy their chances against a name opponent. I understand there's some sort of clause for him to get another shot or something.

    Some people get carried away. It wan't too long ago where a shopworn Kassim Ouma was giving him a hell of a fight. It can be argued that that version of Ouma was Golovkin's toughest opponent to date. Nobody else has had that kind of success against Golovkin. Ouma just didn't have any power.

    Golovkin is too good for his own good

    It sucks for him that he's from Kazakstan and not american, mexican or brit

    otherwise he'd be a superstar already getting lots of big fights and paydays


    as things are now, the MW top dogs aren't willing to take a whooping and a loss at GGG's hands unless they get paid a lot more

    I wish there were more fighters like Abner Mares, willing to prove themselves against the best regardless of the payday or the risk, but sadly they're scarce nowadays
