No, but you're being a Devil's advocate just for the hell of it, because some people get off on being passive aggressive shitstarter. You don't even have deeply held beliefs about this fight, you probably don't even think Sergey won yourself.
I wasn't being passive aggressive at all. I disagreed with you. And yes, here are my live cards: I gave SD 2, but with the cut GGG brought out, I probably should've left it a swing round. And I've called the actual cards completely fair. I'm sure I'll see it completely differently on a rewatch. Very competitive fight.
Hey man, I’ve been following your cards for years. A few years back you had one of the best RBR scoring. I think the last years robberies have made you vote a certain way. Just keeping it real
Thank you, but trust me, I'm being fair, go back and watch the fights I've scored that you disagree with me on, really really closely. Hyper fixate on what's landing and what isn't. Pay attention to how much of the aggression is actually effective. Pay attention to jabs, and to defense. Ignore the optics in a fight. Sometimes fighters look really bad, even while landing the more telling shots in a round. I'm not being a contrarian. I'm not being the Devil's advocate. There was a ridiculous amount of incredibly tight rounds in that match last night, and in rounds like that, you have to pay immaculate amount of attention, block out all of the noise, and focus on quality of punches to split them. Since they were landing almost an equal amount. And if you go back and look for punch quality. You'll see what I saw last night.
LOL This is far worse than the Kov, Ward fight. Kov never had Ward in the trouble Chenko had G. Surely, if you are an unbiased fan, you cannot say the Ward fight was a robbery and this fight is a clear victory for G.
Not a robbery, but Derevyanchenko was jobbed for sure. Just rewatched and def can’t see more than 5 rounds for GGG.
Giving Ward every benefit of the doubt, he won 6 rounds. Giving Sergey every benefit of the doubt, he won 6 rounds. With the KD's being the deciding factor in both. The right man won last night, and Kovalev got jobbed.
Ever been in one of those moods where you feel listless and you have no interest in discussing anything and you have to force it? I'm in one of those moods.
This content is protected 350 users shook out to 115-112 GGG. Lots of close rounds though. 6, 7, 8 in particular.
