What do some of you screaming robbery call the 114-114 scorecard in the Mayweather-Canelo fight? And you want to say a fight decided by a knockdown was a 'robbery'?

 

people scored rounds to jacobs when he was surviving ,moving and having he's moments, but if you scored it properly you could see ggg's jab winning him the fight

 

GGG is the champion and the challenger (Jacobs) needs to clearly win the fight to take his crown. Right?

GGG knocked Jacobs to canvas
GGG punches hurt Jacobs while Jacobs never hurt GGG

Why make Jacobs the champion?

 

They both landed clean shots. Just because Jacobs couldn't hurt him doesn't mean his shots don't count. I didn't see Golovkin throwing much but the stats say he threw 100 more punches? Yea right

 

Alex, GGG landed more cleaner shots and overall was better, not that usual domination by GGG to which many are used to but still better than Jacobs. I do recommend to rewatch the fight.

Triple G's Jab landed often and cleanly. A solid power Jab at that.

Triple G was the aggressor. Landed more, threw more and scored the knockdown.

Credit Jacobs for lasting the distance and putting up a good fight but he lost. He came in to the ring at around 185 which is crazy, he looked huge and it benefitted him but he didn't win the fight

 

Like the man said, you're not a through boxing fan. Fights are scored based on round by round bases. If a fighters scores a knockdown, that knockdown is exclusive to that round, it doesn't carry over to the other rounds.

And Golovkin won the fight, look at the score cards from the judges, media news outlets and hall of fame commentators/judges, Golovkin WON. Just because your sour butt dislikes the decision means ****. Some of you had horrendous score cards LMAO. 7-2 Jacobs? 8-2 Jacobs? Wtf?

golovkin got smoked in the most important categories. sticking your tongue out, playing to the crowd, and posturing after the bell. that is what really should decide fights.
