This post makes no sense. On one hand the poster is saying Canelo needs big names to sell. Yet concedes Golovkin is bending over for Canelo to make the fight. That doesnt add up

Is Golovkin that terrible of a businessman that he needs to give in, every facet, to a guy that supposedly needs him to sell this PPV?

Lets be honest here if we may. It sounds like Golovkin is prostituting himself. Why is he chasing a guy with 0 wins against middleweights? Golovkin seems like a middle tier/low end hooker that is chasing herself a hedge fund billionaire client who usually uses high end services.

 

Ive said this all along, Canelo may be seen as the A side (hate that term) but his other fights are not making the money this is, it is because he is facing GGG. Its not either of them making this it is both of them together so as far as i can see it should be 50-50. Not that i ever thought it would be anything like that. Not to forget Canelo brings ZERO belts to the table and GGG brings most of them.

But Oscar knows now and always has that Canelo is getting an absolute pasting, he was always guna cash him out in this fight, in his eyes this is the best shot Canelo has of winning but knows its a slim chance he is no idiot, casual or internet troll he sees in GGG what the other professionals do so with the chances being that his man gets dismantled he has really gone out all guns blazing on the contract table with K2.

Im happy the fight has been made, im fully convinced Canelo gets torn apart and i hope the camera pans to Oscar as much as possible as it happens. But if anybody is feeling frustrated about the terms they should aim as much of their anger towards K2 as they would GBP. Oscar was always guna want this fight cuz of the money its making, K2 should of played a bit more hardball at the contract table, Oscar would of folded on a bit if they threatened to walk cuz its such a stacked contract.

 

Again. We have another guy making unrealistic statements.

Canelo just proved he can find a fight where he can make big money without Golovkin. And if he wanted to look hard enough Im willing to bet he could find another. People are lining up for the Canelo sweepstakes(yeah its not exactly the Pac or Floyd sweepstakes but its the next best thing).

Even if I indulge in your fantasy that Canelo cant make similar money elsewhere. We know Golovkin certainly cant either. But thats moot because we know Canelo can find opponents.

Yeah Canelo brings 0 belts to the table. Yet its the champion thats been chasing the other guys tail. Should tell you all you need to know.

Golovkin wouldnt be passing up legacy fights against Ward and chasing Canelo if Canelo wasnt the clear draw here. Your logic doesnt add up.

 

Just lol at all the people who think GGG is going to walk through, Canleo, Its the same people who post things like i hope, GGG punishes and tortures canleo, i can't wait to see oscars face when he get's KO'd etc. This is the same bully mentality kovalev and his fans had. The same ones who thought the more angry kovalev got the better lol, These aggressive come forward fighters are made for people like canleo. Canelo like ward don't fold under pressure like ggg's previous opponents. There's levels to this ****, people that don't understand the sweet science won't see it though, Canleo will make it look easy.

 

True, it does seem strange that Canelo is being billed as the A side when Gennady is himself also contributing significantly in making the fight attractive. I personally don't see Canelo as the main draw for this fight internationally. In fact, it is far more likely that Gennady fans far outnumber Canelo fans. However, on a PPV basis maybe it all makes sense regionally to have Canelo as the main draw.

Also, Genady, looks bigger than Canelo. So beating up Canelo if it does happen will be partially if not entirely attributed to his size advantage. So Canelo will emerge beaten but not humiliated for having been beaten as expected. On the other hand, if little Canelo beats Gennady, then that would be seen as a humiliation. In other words, Canelo has an excuse for losing while Gennady doesn't.

 

Yeah at least GGG himself isnt as angry as his fans seem to be. He is even keeled. But his fans are completely delusional
