Golovkin had to give in every demand from team Canelo but HE will have the last laugh

When one golden goose get's paid a lot more and makes a lot more, you have to worry about the judges and a fair ref.

I don't see why he needs Canelo specifically for fame since he has fame already. Neither do I see why his victory over Canelo should elevate him as a knockout artist since Canelo is obviously the smaller man in the ring. Now, had he fought Terrence Crawford and beaten him technically or outpointed him, then he would really enhance his reputation. But as it is he comes in looking like a cat eyeing a mouse.

 

I think that bets placed have something to do with this. You know, the intimidation factor.

 

The last fight where i can remember the Undisputed Champion giving
into so many demands was Leonard vs Hagler. And Hagler though he
got the cash he has regretted it ever since.
Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself 30 years later .
