Biggest boxing/UFC events always going to be in Vegas, that’s not even an argument. DLH can pay to the commission and to the judges everywhere in the World so it does not matter Even Joshua-Wilder will take place in the T-Mobile, no doubt
Why are you still pushing this fake news? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.boxingnews24.com/2019/01/loeffler-says-ggg-still-a-broadcast-free-agent/amp/
Not true. Although that’s probably the route Golovkin will choose, he hasn’t officially signed anything yet. Also, what happened to that GGG and Loefler splitting up thing? Was that a rumour too?
Be real my friend, we know Canelo took it to Golovkin in fight 2. Nobody would have believed Canelo could hold his own going toe to toe. Not only did he hold his own, Canelo went forward nearly the entire fight and forced the destroyer Golvkin fight fight going backwards. Its already been established that Canelo can take Golovkin's punch, and that's bad news for Golovkin. Canelo landed the cleaner, harder, and more telling blows both fights, I don't see where anything would change in a 3rd fight but an older decaying Golovkin going down.
Golovkin might make 50 million dollars from their trilogy fight, I salivate over his potential earnings.
Seeing on twitter Golovkin has signed with DAZN on principle for a 2 fight deal worth at least 45 mil. But it's Boxing Kingdom so who knows if it's bull**** or not.
It's funny that I didn't think of that as an option but of course! He believes he can't win on the scorecards. First fight moving forward, 2nd moving back and boxing all the while. A man whose 23 fight KO streak finished only 3 fights ago should put his foot on the pedal and go for it. I think he's the heavier puncher, his chin is as good and he's a slightly better technician than Canelo. He is however slower, older and doesn't have as many tricks. I'm getting excited thinking about this already! Thanks NaiKoN!
That could be a very dangerous strategy for the G man. The more he tries to knockout Canelo the more wildly he could miss which will leave himself open for the kind of brutal counter punching opportunites that rocked him in the first fight. There's a reason why G fought cautiously early on in both fights. He's never faced someone with the high level skill set of Canelo and it showed over 24 rounds. Canelo is a far better technician than GGG. The areas that GGG has advantages over Canelo is with his jab and in his determination. In virtually every other area Canelo is superior. Going in, GGG was thought to be the heavier puncher, but that was disproven in both fights as Canelo landed the harder shots and G was reduced to a backing away jabber in the rematch. That said, I wouldn't count the G man out. Contrary to the popular belief that G is aging rapidly, I think at this stage in his career the time off is benefitting him. He looked better, healthier and more focused in the rematch than he did in the first fight, despite him being a year older, and after what happened, he has a lot to prove in a 3rd fight.
