"Golovkin has to move up" -wrong. Lemme cut you off there. He actually doesn't, ever.

Canelo, Lara and Andrade are not at 160...yet. Lara has put his name out there only to be ignored. Canelo is not willing to move up right now (but, did offer to fight at 155...Team GGG balked). And Andrade just got back and is chasing the best at JMW. We need to rule all these guys out for now. They are good potential opponents (but, not happening in the near future).

And the top fighters at 160 are too busy ducking and dodging.

Time to move up...or get old and lose sharpness (fighting cans or small fighters) waiting on these other guys (or acting like they don't exist...Lara).

They didn't want Ward anyway. Hell, they lost an opportunity with Edwin Rodriquez because they demanded he fight at 164 (according to Rodriquez, whom I believe over that liar Abel Sanchez). No way would they ever truly consider Ward at 168.

GG is not the lineal champion. He should ask for a 1 versus 2 matchup and if he wins he will be the lineal champion. Canelo is not the lineal champion in my book. I see the title as vacant. Canelo had his money fight, didn't agree to face his mandatory and is not seen by me as champion. He's a money maker now, and I don't respect money makers who do not fight their mandatory. There are cases where step aside money is paid out and you take that fight before your mandatory but you face your mandatory and Canelo ***ged out on that.

In fairness the only name hagler beat that will set him apart from ggg is hearns,a former welterweight.duran shouldnt be classes as a great victory,he was a lightweight for over 70 fights and as great as he was he wasnt a great mw.leonard beat him, they are the 3 standout names.none of them career middleweights, leonard beat him after a 5 year lay off, hearns broke his right hand also.
Ggg doesnt lose rounds never mind fights,if he continues to ko everyone like he is doing he can be considered the greatest mw without being an unreasonable opinion

Rofl. 100% ko rate mugabi would eat triple joke alive in 15 rounds. Not everybody is a 18% ko rate monroe jr, or a "first time 12 round fighter" like this last guy i dont even remember his name. You are blind if you cannot see that hagler's CV sh*ts all over ggg's CV (that is a total joke).

There are some really big dudes at 154 that look dead at the scales. I predict that GGG will have his hands full with them, once they move up.

A real disaster would be if they pull a Canelo and starting adding a pound at a time as their bodies mature.

GG does not have to move up. He is not champion yet. He has to become champion. You can't give a man the lineal title. He must fight the number 2 guy for the lineal title and he will be ok with me. If he does not, then I can't credit him as a mw lineal champion. It's like they are rushing him and trying to get what they can out of him before he gets old. Get the world mw title. Lineage can never be forgotten. You don't want an asterisk next to your name in the record books.

I think It reiterated your Point. It looks like speed and slickness give him more problems than size and strength.
