Anyone with half a brain knows he beat Clenelo the first time

Whatcha make of GGG getting that #1 WBC rating

Im not sure, either fight would be very dangerous, that is vs Charlo or Adames. If he fights like the real GGG, he has a good chance to beat either, but he has to let the bombs go.

Agreed. Forget reflexes and timing, just throw. Throw until you land the kill shot.

Time to hang them up. There is nowhere to go for GGG. All eras come to an end.

Exactly. Just pump the jab and fire the rights and hooks after. He needs to forget about timing and finesse. Just swarm.

Still the biggest name at 160lbs.
And if I am not mistaken, he only has one more fight on his DAZN contract. It might explain why he dropped both of his belts. If it is their final fight together, then I bet DAZN will want it to be as big as possible.

Golovkin threw his Career away after those Canelo fights, it's like he gave boxing & his fans a big middle finger while collecting his money & dipped, sad.

He did fight Derevyanchenko, which was pretty significant and a good fight.
But yes, after the Canelo rematch it was all about money; be it the 3rd Canelo fight or a fight with Murata. Both of those came to be and now Golovkin is stuck in limbo.

Actually he vacated even the IBF belt. True mistery.

As much as i like Derv he was always a b minus fighter almost a gate keeper type even now currently, Golovkin beat him clearly but i was surprised he went onto say that it was a very close call in the post fight whereas in the aftermath of the Canelo fights which were a lot more grueling & hard fought he wouldn't admit to it either bouts being close,

Makes you think that even though the Saunders, Charlo & Andrade's of the world have done great at avoiding threats where there was uncertainty of victory at the same time i never once felt Golokvin wanted those fights either or at least never really tried pushing for it especially when he was younger, he was content on his side & even then he was extremely picky with his selection of opponents with the exception being Canelo.

I think his contract was renegotiated and the trilogy fight was the final fight on the contract for DAZN. So he is a free agent .

He threw his career off a cliff waiting for the Clenelo fights.

Clenelo ruined his career by dragging all their fights out, juicing and getting a garbage decision in their first fight and an iffy one in their rematch.

I heard on a podcast he wants a send off fight in front of his fans. I’d love that for him. Hope he gets it.
