He might have exceeded GGG'S third performance. Thats about it.Although i don't remember Lara ever winning 4 rounds in a row like GGG did at the end.
Lara is better than Jacobs or Dervenchenko...that's how bad GGG resume is. Partly his own fault and partly victim of being avoided and partly bad luck (Sergio retired, Pirog retired, Quillin exposed and semi-retired). Lara would be GGGS 2nd best scalp should he fought and beat him
I remember Lara offered to fight GGG after Canelo doped and was suspended. There were couple of other times but it was never a serious DUCK although yet another missed opportunity
"He's never wanted to fight Lara because of his style, and because of the possibility he might lose" Ya know this sounds just like Canelo when Benavidez is mentioned ...
How is he better? Better at 154 then Jacobs or Dev were at 160? Maybe at best. And Lara at 160 is....what? A 39yo w/ no major wins at 160, who had one big fight at 154 against canelo and lost?? Having a close fight w/ canelo seems to be all he's done. And as a big fan of his, it frustrated me a lot! BTW...if you think 3G's resume is bad...then what does that make Lara's?? Terrible???
Yeah... Roy Jones Jr should also retire. Maybe I should give Roy a call and share my opinion with him. I wonder if he'll listen. What do you think?
I couldnt care less about that, fact remains Ggg has wanted no part of Lara and it cant be defended no matter how hard you try.
