I second this. GGG needs to connect 90% of his punches to score a round, I guess it is fact when regards to fighting Canelo.

I think GGG didn't come in the best of shapes in this fight, he was quite chubby like 1 week before the fight, this time I can sense he is constantly in shape and he knows everything is on the line.

Am I the only one who's impressed that Gennady understands Spanish? People knock on this guy because his English is iffy but how many languages do they know?

GGG's chin is what it is cracked up to be. He's never been knocked down I'm sure in like 300+ fights. And he must have taken about 3 or 4 of the shots that canelo used to take Khan out in that fight. Whether you have a good chin or not, those shots are gonna be devastating. GGG held up to those no problem, he didn't even seem bothered by them. His chin is the best in boxing at the moment imo. That chin is made of steel underneath I'm sure.

I think it's far more down to age that he was starting to tire late on rather than having a lesser chin than people think. Let's get this straight, those shots that took Khan out and that were thrown against GGG would knock probably 80% of fighters down to the canvas, if not more. And they'd probably knock a good few clean out.

Canelo won the last 3 rounds of that fight. GGG did nothing but throw jabs and come forward not cutting the ring off he was countered to hell and back and beaten to the punch with power shots all night long. If Canelo's stamina improves GGG will be in a world of trouble because he can't outbox Canelo and Canelo can take his power. Canelo will beat GGG and Evil Twin Charlo will end him.

You have an amateur boxing eye. Against Willie Monroe Jr he gassed bad and let Jr T off on his dome for a long period as he was recovering. When he commits to power punching, he gasses very badly. He didn’t commit to power punching nor body punching against Saul so I can see why guys like you could perceive he has good conditioning but he didn’t start until round 4 and he pissed the championship rounds away.

I think he felt more terrible and sick to his stomach when Byrd's scorecard was read.

Nope he need to connect 268% for the whole fight, knock Canelo out, and not get hit once just to lose 118-110.. That's what y'all sound like...smh

I think G wins but the fix is probably already in. Canelo by SD.
