We've read countless threads on this... what would be more impressive is having an average chin and not getting hurt, testament to skills. Golovkin's not being hurt is just a testament to toughness, genetics. Golovkin hasn't been tested, he's 34 and has no plans of facing someone bigger than him, so we may never see him tested. His true potential hasn't been revealed.

    very good post

I seen many top fighters in the sport who have been rocked and dropped and some knocked out by far lesser fighters then lemieux and stevens badu jack for example was knocked out by derek ward was buzzed and rocked a couple of times and was put down thats just to name a few

The way he keeps his chin tucked it's not surprising. Even when he let Monroe tee off on him, he was showing all forehead.

Of course brook hurt GGG, watch rd2 after brook lands the uppercut at around the 50 sec mark, then watch after he lands a few combos on the backing up Iron Man, watch at the end of Brooks assault, how quick he was to grab, just watch his legs.

Brook shown the way to beat GGG, just as did bruno to tyson when he shown the world that tyson wasnt made of iron either in there first fight, when bruno rocked him in the first.

Never been hurt in a fight BS.

And here I was thinking that Buster Douglas showed the way to beat Tyson
..Considering the fact it was he who took Tyson's 0 away. My bad, thanks for clearing that up.

Then later on post-prison Tyson was a shell of a former great.

On topic, I doubt GGG ever has been seriously hurt to date. But its proven that great chins go bad, given enough miles on the clock. If GGG fights for long enough and gets old enough, he will be cracked.
That's the deterioration of the human body as it ages plus a career of getting punched in the face.

Going over 400 bouts, fighting top level opposition without being knocked down is beyond someone merely being just another man who can box.

    It's exceptional.

it's like Ronaldo or Messi in the football world; many would not say they are simply men who are good at football. They are inspired athletes - who although have weaknesses to their game - most would agree they are complete footballers of the highest magnitude

Likewise GGG is the complete boxer because of the high level of tools he has at his disposal which rises him above many pretenders. No one has pretended he has no weakness, but to make out that Brook hurt him significantly is a desperate fallacy that many are clinging on to in order to refute his latest statement.

Exceptional is a reasonable PoV, Suggesting he is devoid of human fallibility as some do - I don't aim that barb at you - is plain silly.

345+5+36=386 bouts so not more than 400 (even though his am record is fabricated)
It might be untrue that he hasn't been dropped nobody documented his whole career, we all know he wasn't 345-5, so who's to say he didn't get dropped a few times as well.

GGG is a tremendous talent, truly elite. Why do people feel the need to accentuate his record, it was fine enough as it was.

He has become a bit of a myth, a modern day god, virtually unbeatable.

Even Achilles was beatable though and took a loss in the end. I expect GGG will one day too.

You seem to give more a sh*t about his am record then his fans do. But back to the part you say is fabricated, got proof? I mean, other then a website the looks like an old Geocities holdover from 1997. Looks like a couple other posters noticed names missing from that site, so might be safe to say it'as not the best source.
