Those comments have *nothing* to do with a potential Bumlovkin fight. It's my sincere belief that the Ward camp considers Bumlovkin an easy fight.

Was that the case when RN sent Team Triple Duck an offer to fight Ward? I certainly don't recall hearing any sort of thing coming out of the Ward camp during that time frame. Maybe you can point us to an article somewhere which clarifies the situation?

Those opponents were mandatory challengers. Was Ward a mandatory? No, he was working on finalizing fights of their own, as that article I posted showed.

No simple jack, Alvarez or Cotto at the time would have been a MUCH higher payday then Ward. What you don't get is, when 3g and Ward fights, Ward is NOT the A side, that's 3G. And he'll get the lions share of the pot.

Don't be silly. I don't believe that for a second and I'm a big fan of Andre's. Although he'd have been supremely confident of beating him, I've no doubt that he and Virgil have a lot of respect for him. Sure, he may see Kovalev as a bigger threat, but GG would have been a threat, and again, he hadn't fought at SMW for over 2 years. So I don't believe he'd have had a big fight at SMW after only fighting Smith after 19 months out. It would have been illogical.

This is why me and Lance are questioning the contract. In my honest opinion, he was just posturing in the media. There was no substance to that offer. If he was really ready to have fought GG at 168 earlier this year, he would never have said that he couldn't make 168 just a few months ago.
