Even though I'm a big fan of Andre's, my honest opinion is:

They sent out a contract to make it appear as though they wanted to fight, but in reality they knew it was going to be turned down. Sort of like how Floyd offered Manny the flat fee.


Again, if he was really ready and willing to drop back down to 168 to fight GG after only fighting once in 19 months, he wouldn't currently need 2 tune ups for Kovalev due to rust.

Again, if he could have made 168 in the early part of this year, he wouldn't have just declared that he didn't think he could make it anymore.


Do you understand where I'm coming from and why I'm questioning these things?

The contract which was sent out goes against everything he's said and done throughout this past year.

these guys are like the old cliff hanger movies that leaves the fans dangling for the next episode that the hero looks in danger. when in reality the hero is never in danger as proven by the next episode.

so it is with GGG the next big drama show is ward or kovalev..........then when the show is announced its chocalito and he was never in danger. then fans pay another nickle for the next episode.

Sending a contract to a guy who was finalising another fight doesn't mean ANYTHING. Anyone can send a contract.


Okay, we'll use your logic for a hypothetical scenario:

So if GG had actually sent Andre a contract, it wouldn't have mattered when it was sent, or what the terms were etc? It would have been legit? And if Andre had've turned it down for whatever reason, you'd have had no issue with any member here labelling Andre a ducker?

If it was vice versa, everybody reading this knows that you would have gone mad insisting that Andre had already got a fight lined up. You would never accept people saying that it was an official contract that was turned down. You'd be crying about the circumstances, yet in this instance, you don't care about them.

Let me give you some advice:

When you keep referring to GG as 'Bumlovkin' it's absolutely cringeworthy. It just gives the impression that you're either an immature teen or you're an adult with learning disabilities. You are not upsetting anybody, you are just embarrassing yourself. Sort yourself out.
