    Golovkin has mentioned even before fighting Jacobs that he might purposely look not too good against Jacobs to lure in Canelo......

    from what i read of it i dont think he intentionally looked 'bad' against jacobs

    but what hes saying is because he looked bad thats the reason canelo & GB want the fight and if he crushed jacobs they would of delayed the fight again untill he did look aged

    No way he did it on purpose but I think he is probably right...

    Canelo and his team probably gained confidence from a sub par GGG performance and thought nows the time to make the fight...

    Im not saying i thought GGG fought poorly by his standards on purpose against Jacobs but he has a point, if he had wiped Jacobs out in reletive ease as he usually does he would not of had an offer off GBP this year.

    There is some truth to this. Canelo waited for GGG to age and slow down a bit to take the fight.

    Leonard only took the Hagler fight after Hagler looked vulnerable
    against Mugabi . Hopefully Golovkin has one big fight left in him
    as Golovkin has been talking alot of the Canelo fight being his last.
