Bernard needed 3 chances to win his first Abc belt, and didn't beat a single top 10 middleweight until 1995, if memory serves me correctly. Even an afterthought like Proksa would've been the best win on early 90's Hopkins' resume. There's no way that version of Hops was more proven than GGG.
