Oh yes that would be a slugfest... But I'm not sure if de la Hoya would put in Canelo in such a risky fight. I think all top 5 at middle weight would give Canelo problems. I'm a Canelo and a GGG fan. I think Canelo should just stay at 154 and save himself the problems lol

 

I really don't understand how anyone can defend Canelo in this. The guy is a liar. He's trying to save face and feeling a little emboldened by Kell Brook having a tiny bit of success before being hospitalised and some of you clowns are lapping it up.

By all means feel free to criticise the brook fight and the rest of his mismanaged career but don't defend Alvarez. The guy has been acting like a total imbecile since he dumped his belt. He needs to put up or shut up.

DuckNelo ScaredVarez along with team DeLaFishnet is just waiting a few more years to make sure GGG has arthritis before fighting him. Perhaps by year 2020 we would see the fight finally happening.

 

canelos problem is that hes trying to fake a game of catchup with 3g. 3g has now made 5 defences (6 if you count geale as defence rather than winning the "vacant" mw title), canmans only got 2 or 3. Hes hanging a lot on his fight with mayweather, but that was a loss. Canelo is well behind, although in terms of age hes well ahead of course.

the other side of the coin is that Canelo had made more defences IF you include LMW, in that respect hes ahead of 3g.
