Golovkin is being hyped beyond belief. Martinez thrashes him, Groves destroys him

  1. The last few days have seen a slew of pot-hunting gullible minions come out of the woodwork to declare their allegiance to all things Golovkin, claiming that they have always followed his career with interest. :rofl

The entirely irrefutable reality is that last weekend was the first time these disgraces have ever seen Golovkin fight, and only because he was on HBO, A.K.A Hypejob Box Office. As per the norm, they were spoon-fed propaganda from gormless HBO puppet Max Kellerman.:dead:patsch

Using superior speed, Martinez would dart in and out, peppering Golovkin's chops with crisp combos and vicious straight lefts.

If Golovkin chooses to move up, future Super Middleweight kingpin Saint George Groves awaits. That fight doesn't go past 5 rounds.:deal

Martinez is 37 with dodgy legs. He fights with his hands down by his side.

He wouldnt be able to keep up with the pace.

    He would get KOed.

Awful post, with a terrible analysis

Although I agree, GG is being way overhyped

    @ Groves destroys him

Yes, Martinez has a fairly good chance if the fight were made tomorrow. But Groves, although much, much bigger at the weight, would not stand a chance.

he stands no chance against the true cream of the crop at super middleweight, and that obviously doesn't include george groves. however, whether you've noticed or not, sergio martinez is showing signs of age. i'm not saying golovkin would steamroll him as a result, but it makes a fight between he and sergio much more interesting. you cant disregard the way martinez's last two fights were going leading up to the KO finishes.

GGG would smash Sven Warddke's glass jaw to pieces.this is the weakest smw division ever,GGG would have a real chance.

I am saying this again: Golovkin can do great things if he gets the chance, he is a skilled power puncher with a mercyless killer instinct.. Of course he has not fought any thing like a Martinez, but he would certainly have a chance.

Where is the irrefutable evidence, that makes these irrefutable points, irrefutable?

At the moment some on the general are clearly over hyping Golovkin. Yes his power is special, his punching technique and variety impressive, overall offensively he looks like a class apart from anyone else at middleweight.

But boxing isn't just about offense. He's easy to hit, he hasn't shown how he would cope with movement or superior speed, as he isn't the quickest middleweight.

I would favour Martinez to outpoint him. He's much faster, slicker and more mobile than Golovkin. How will GGG cope with a constantly moving target that just isn't going to be there to tee off on?

And he should forget about going to super middle at the moment. Abraham was another vaunted puncher at middleweight and his power didn't impress at 168lbs. He should prove his superiority at middleweight before moving up.

Over-hyped, my big black butt. (and I'm not even black.)

Golovkin will send Vitali Klitschko into retirement !

Golovkin isn't just the P4P greatest fighter in the whole wide world, he's the P8P greatest !!!
