He might be over typed but thats no reason to disrespect the man. He clearly has talent. 3 men and a can of dog food likes to **** on decent boxers for no reason. He's a WWF fan in the wrong fourm. A boxing purist can respect all fighters.

As soon as some fighter puts on a good performance, some couch potato comes out of nowhere and says 'XYZ is overhyped and going to get Knocked out' etc etc

    :patsch

I like groves, but golovkin would eat him alive atm. George was dropped by kenny anderson and was rocked in the first round of his fight against paul smith, golovkin hits a lot harder than either of them.

before he beat Proksa i was skeptical, i knew he had a great amateur career and i knew his pro career was off to an easy start but i wasnt impressed with anybody on his resume

so i was waiting for him to fight a guy who i thought was good enough to prove this guys for real...Proksa to me isnt the best around but a pretty good fighter with an awkward style and some power

Proksa also had a quality win at that and avenged his only loss inside the distance so clearly this win would be worthy for GGG

after the dust settled i see why GGG has all the hype

i mean his shot placement was great he hit the head and the body very well targeting different spots, he moved his head well to take steam off of the shots that did get in, he didnt once look hurt

He is patient finisher with his mind set on defense

as far as Martinez, I dont know, Macklin and Barker gave this guy real trouble and Golovkin may be better

I'll wait on my opinion til after Golovkin gets another top flight opponent, it may be hard getting a big fight after that execution

Absolutely no doubt there's been a total drought of perspective when it comes to 3G.
I like him,but 160 is where he should remain because he's not even a big MW.And yes,at this point,Martinez has the tools to dismantle him.
Can't we just enjoy an exciting fighter without getting carried away?

I've seen more people saying he's being overhyped than I have people overhyping him...

Great to see two little known non-American fighters on a major USA TV network.

I know a lot is down to styles but Proksa took out Sebastian Sylvester in 3 rounds. Less than 6 months earlier Daniel Geale could only manage a split decision against Sebastian Sylvester.

If Golovkin lands as many puches as Macklin managed against Martinez I don't see Martinez winning - only time will tell if/when they meet in the ring.

  9. Utter poppycock. At no point did I criticise or disrespect him. I am criticising the bandwagon jumpers. :patsch:patsch:verysad

I suspect your ludicrous comment is borne from the fact that I viciously pwned you in another thread. :hey

  10. Proksa is no good as a gauge, he lost to Kerry Hope, and I think it was Rico Spadafora who pointed out his Glass Jaw.:deal

Im sure if you told GGG a professional novice who only fought 15 nobody's would flay and finnish him within 5 rounds he'd feel disrespected.

  12. :nono:nono Moving the goalposts dino. I also think Mayweather would destroy Pacquiao, even though I enjoy Pac´s fights. How is that disrespectful? It´s called an opinion. I analyse the strengths and weaknesses of fighters to draw my conclusions. :deal

I know the guy beats Proksa and suddenly is the man to defeat Ward/Martinez etc.

Not 6 months ago Proksa was being slated on here after his loss to feather fisted Kerry Hope!! Some people have selective memory its as if they can only concentrate on the last fight they watched.

I watched Golovkin vs Ouma , Fuchigami and Proksa pro fights and Dirrell, Bute, Lee, Despaigne and Gaydarbekov amateur fights but I've to be agree with u ! Most people didn't know Golovkin until Proksa fight. Martinez , Chavez Jr and maybe Pirog would beat him. At SMW , he has a chance against A.A !:yep
