All these guys are beating each other by close (often gift) decisions, while Golovkin is putting his opponents away by KO in 3 or 4 rounds. Murray D Sturm, Sturm SD Macklin, Geale SD Sturm, Barker SD Geale, Martinez UD Murray, and all of them were dubious decisions. Then we have Kid Chocolate who can't be bothered to fight any decent opponents, so he fights fellow bums like Fernando Guerrero and a 40-year old welterweight in Winky Wright. And Chocolate is 30 years old, so don't give me the "up-and-coming fighter" line. He's a protected bum. And none of these bums want any part of Golovkin, of course. Our only hope of having a good fight at middleweight is when Dmitry Pirog's injury heals: that guy had already agreed to fight Golovkin but the injury happened and put him out for a long time. The MW division is pure politics and ducking. I hope these bums and paper-champions either fight Golovkin or retire and stop boring us with their useless fights among each other.
I wouldn't say that their fights are useless. The Geale vs Barker fight was very entertaining but GGG kills either one of them.
I've always thought Pirog or Korobov are the only dangers to GGG. Sadly none of those fighters are relevant atm.
