    Everything's been said here.

-Ward has not said what's in the OP
-Golovkin's plan is to clean out 160 first, then move up to 168
-The OP quote begs the question considering Golovkin is a MW, is Ward "afraid" of a Kovalev/Stevenson fight at 175?
-The TS is an attention whoring, Floyd deepthroating, semen drinking imbecile.

Why is Ward calling out a MW who has not even beaten a top MW? This shows how empty MW, SMW and LHW are at present.
I dont see how anyone could comment on small Golovkin not going up a division when Ward fought a LHW at SMW.
Is Ward considering going up to LHW to face Kovalev?

Both guys should be concerned about their own divisions, especially Golovkin. I don't think that Ward is planning to come down to 160 and Golovkin moving up in the next couple of fights is unlikely too.

Some persons on this forum seriously need to pull their head out their @$$.

Fights like Golovkin-Ward does not happen overnight, they got to be part of the bigger career plan for a fighter.

Both Ward and Golovkin have several years left of their careers, lets see how this fight fits in....

    Ward
Presently Ward has such major promotional problems that he can call out absolutely anyone without a fight materialising. He now sues his promotor for the second time? He needs the fight but is not desperate. GGG's star is rising, so the fight will be worth more $ in a year or two.
If Ward wins - great for him. Move up to 175. If he looses - too bad - move to 175 anyway. In both cases there is noting left to fight at 168.

    Golovkin
GGG first and foremost has a MW division to clean out. Main job is to take over the crown from Sergio Martinez, not playing with weight. There are also some potential fights with Kirkland, Martirosyan, Canelo and Mayweather that could require weight drop, not increases. A move to 168 would spoil all of these fights.

When GGG moves to 168 he will smart to move on Froch, Abraham, Kessler before facing Ward. What is the point in facing Ward right away? He will just scare of the rest of the division, just what happened at MW.

If GGG is really smart he takes his time, making Ward move to 175 first. Then they agree to fight at 168, making Ward come down again in weight. That should level the playing field. GGG-Ward is not a realistic fight before 2016 at the earliest.

Number 1 problem with Ward, whilst he is a skilful fighter, he has very little appeal to neutral boxing fans due to his spoiling style. His fighting style is to take away the fight from his opponent, along with using his head and questionable tactics. I admire his ability to do what he does, unarguably, the best in the world at doing it. But I will never be excited watching a Ward fight. Also his constant assertion that fights have to be at a weight/place/time that works for him, is an overinflated sense of entitlement.

GGG on the other hand is an exciting fighter to watch.

One of you GGG hater's answer why Ward can't drop down to Middleweight to fight Golovkin like Dawson did for him?

A lot of Golovkin hater's say he should drop down to Jr Middleweight for a fight with Lara-which wouldn't be a big money fight- why is it one rule for GGG and a different rule for Ward- and GGG does better numbers than Ward so he should have the right to make the terms of the fight.

    I'm sure he'd fight him at 160lbs.

    Why would he though?

Andre Ward would be heavily favored and is the bigger guy, and STILL, Golovkin is the bigger star in America.

Gennadyi Golovkin is a bigger star than Andre Ward, in USA.

Tells you all you need to know, this is a business. Gennadyi is rightfully waiting for the bigger fights like Martinez or Chavez.

So this argument doesn't apply to Floyd? When people call for Floyd to fight GGG.
