I think the combination of GGG not having fought anyone that good with him trying to fight another average fighter is why people are frustrated with GGG.

His best win is probably Daniel Gaele yet people want to compare GGG to Hagler.

Every guy at Middleweight is a cherry pick for GGG.

Ward need to stop avoiding boxing and get back into the ring ASAP.

Ward wasn't available to fight when GGG signed to fight Chavez Jr and he's not available to fight now.
Are you too stupid to understand this or are you just trolling?
How do you fight someone who is not available to fight?
Go sh*t post on a wrasslin' forum, dumb f*ggot:lol:

Chavez Jr in my opinion has done nothing to even be rated in the top 10 at the weight. That GGG would fight him and not Ward speaks a lot. Ward would embarass GGG. Middleweight is weak right now, so much so that a guy like Daniele Geale, who wouldn't even be a top 10 guy back when Hopkins was in his prime is probably GGGs best scalp. When you fight mostly mediocre opposition, and you have power, it is easy to look good.

I agree but what exactly do these guys have in common that you would compare them?

Actually almost noone thinks that, for that reason anyhow. Most people, even GGG fans recognize that Cotto-Canelo is a legit megafight - and the more astute GGG fans know that K2 signed off on that fight coming first as part of deal with WBC to fight for interim belt. With K2 on board with the C/C plan its honestly hard to criticize.

That being said, I dont think Cotto will fight GGG - I think he will drop the belt first and invoke Emiritus status at 154 to fight for a belt instead of defending 160 belt. But it isnt because he is fighting someone else first, I just think Roach will advise him to go after a different fight and fight smaller guys. GGG isnt a large 160, but he is still larger than Cotto.

If that happens, then Lemiuex will probably fight GGG for vacant belt since he is #1 after Murray who is Silver belt holder. Which will go over fine, or at least HBO will be happy to show it.

The big question for 2015 is really whether Haymon will have Jacobs box off with someone for WBA regular - then actually try to fight GGG as WBA mandatory.

Jacobs and Haymon didn't have a problem fighting Pirog, I don't think they would avoid GGG after another fight or two.

Ward doesn't want anything to do with GGG . He knows to do so would be the end of the line for him

I am actually somewhat inclined to agree with you. Though I think they will have a box-off first... so the question is who actually ends up with the WBA under-belt that Jacobs currently has amongst Haymons stable. If Quillin managed to beat Jacobs for example, dont expect him to go knockin on K2's door anytime soon.

So it will be interesting at least.
