This. Pavlik was an absolute dynamite puncher at 160. My guess is that he will have seen 100's of those hit and move fighters in the amateurs. I want to see him fight Chavez Jr.

His shifting section is inaccurate but good overall.

Who are these slick fighters who would supposedly give GGG so much trouble?:huh

I don't disagree with this assessment but given that he was hit "flush many times" he could get knocked out or hurt given the right fighter. I'm not knocking the guy, his offense is an A+ and his chin is solid, but as I said earlier, it's his defense against extremely elite fights that I question.

I think GGG actually has a decent resume. He has wins over Stevens, Macklin, Geale, Rosado, and Rubio, all of whom were top 10 contenders.

Let's not forgot that he also absolutely demolished those fighters. The power is legit and is not due to size but due to skill. He isn't massive MW by any stretch. That sneaky uppercut which began the end of rubio is something Floyd has used at the higher weights.

Geals' movement is horrible. I'm sure GGG took advantage of that

I think his defense is good. He gets hit because he needs to put himself in position, distance and balance to unleash those mighty punches. That means he stands right there in front of opponent and that means he will get hit, but he does some subtle things to neutralize opponent's punches and at the same time keeping his edge - incredible precision, timing and power. He is happy to exchange. It is very hard to beat such a fighter.
