    spot on mate. :good

Geale knew he stood no chance against GGG as does the majority of boxing fans. Its a dark day in boxing when you can call yourself a world champ but refuse to face the best fighter in the division.

Any true, honest and knowledgeable boxing fan could not keep a straight face and try and tell me Geale beats Golovkin. Geale would get ****ing mauled. So would Sergio at this stage. Golovkin-Ward is the fight people want to see.

Dont really agree, if this happen to guys like KT then KT would have never been undisputed champion. Sure it may have been occuring but i think its become more prevalent and should be frowned at, not ignored and brushed aside as it ruins the sport of boxing.

It isnt ruining the sport, it has ruined it already. Lucky boxing is good enough to survive the top guys not fighting each other regularly. It has been happening for years and just because it doesnt always happen to every fighter doesnt mean its something new.

Also good luck frowning upon it as Im sure the boxing organisations will be fearful of your frowns and turn away all that money thats to be made.

No offence I like your website and it's articles but you never know. Styles make fights. The search function is one of the few things that still works on this site I remember your Ward-Froch predictions on the Super 6.

:huh that was not the purpose, its a boxing forum that people talk about boxing and share opnions. There is more money to be made if Champions fight other champions even if they are with diffrent networks, Tyson v Lewis is a prime example. Its alright though, the sport has Floyd so he can carry it on his back for the next yr or so. :good

As much as i like Geale, everything he has achieved is starting to count for zip,as the world is just talking GGG.Can understand him taking the easier route and fighting lesser guys for the coin, but imaging IF he won.....**** it GGG is my fav fighter.

Mate that is true to an extent and Golovkin was awesome and his destruction of Macklin was devastating. But Geale has still achieved a great deal and Golovkin is no megastar.

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/2013/golovkin-vs-macklin-early-results-nelson-wins/

He only made $350,000 for the Macklin fight. Geale made over 5x that amount for Mundine. If Geale can hold onto his title and GGG stays at MW(Eddie Hearn is talking up a fight between GGG and Froch at SMW late this year early next year)then I think they will fight depending on how Geale looks against Barker.

    Smart move by Geale.

Golovkin is going to be a much bigger name in 2014 and even bigger in 2015 by the looks of things. So long as Geale keeps winning, then the longer he leaves it - the bigger name Golovkin will be, the more cash Geale will make.
So, even if Geale loses at least it will be worth it.
Golovkin has been the best middleweight for well over a year IMO.
He is only just starting to get the fights he deserves.

The Soloman fight was being negotiated, Sam ****ed that one with his big mouth. GGG was discussed and didnt eventuate... You say ran, but it isnt the case. Geale still has the IBF belt, has a decent opponent in Barker and is on the way up from here.

yeah the blokes good but if he moves up to 168 he wont beat ward . i watched the fight and he is impressive fights very smart and cuts the ring off as good as anyone and forces blokes to fight him and his power. macklin went into his shell very quickly which was due to golovkin no doubt but he never really offered much and was a sitting duck when he backed up onto the ropes in the third . i beleive geale fought choc because he knew he could make 4 times the money he could fighting ggg and it was a safe fight . on ggg performance yesterday geale would not be in a rush to face hime but nor will anyone be . i still think peter quillan looks very impressive , very stong puncher . i would like to see ggg and quillan go at it .

So your telling us that until GGG earns more money he is not a megastar and because Geale earned 2 mil fighting Mundine that he is a megastar but no one in USA knows who Geale is?

Get it through your head mate, Geale will NEVER fight GGG, he didnt even want to fight Soliman let alone get in there with GGG. The day Geale fights GGG is the day Geale is put into retirment.

I can understand BLH because he has no idea about how boxing works in Australia and how big a cash cow Mundine is in Australia. Golovkin is dangerous sure but 350k is chicken feed. If both keep winning and wow the American audiences I can see a unification bout in the future. Though I read a
fight with Froch at 168 is a big possibility. Don't think your allowed to post links here.
