    oh I agree , give Danny 100 Mil I dont care If I see that fight, but GGG didnt pull out from that purse bid, it was the fighter witj the bigger purse
    what would u say if Danny pulls out now
    He takes GGGs scalp he becomes INSTANT LEGEND , then gets to fight Canelo and BJS for a lot of cash

    I dont see him pulling out, unless he s not confident of beating GG and just wants to cash out

    your thoughts James ?

    I agree, I just don't like the hypocrisy.

    Forget the splits for a moment and look at the raw numbers.

    Jacobs gets called a coward for turning down 1 mill, but GGG isnt for turning down 10mill+?

    I don't think either are cowards but $$$ matter big time and to make fights someone quite often has to compromise.

    GGG cries for fights but will never compromise.

    yes he was, he was takin a mandatories fighter's purse, everything was in favour of Canelo, but he didnt want the fight, pure and simple, he lied to everyone on the night of the Khan fight
    GG called his bluff and won, its just that simple, Golovkin only cared about the belt, now Canelo has to go tjrough him or get to BJS first, otherwise he's cooked, instead of 70-30 it will be 60-40 or 55-45

    he would figure to get more IF the wbc would rule it like that, as they have the power to do so, but they didnt, it the event of purse bid it would've been same story as Wilder Povetkin

    pls show me sites from the time frame I gave that say that purse split for Canelo GGG would've been 55 45

    there were only days left before the purse bid and no such ruling as 55-45 came from the wbc, it remained 70-30 like a normal mandatory split, the interim rule was changed, just read what the other poster put UP
    where does it say interim fights get split 55-45 ?????
    with the new rule the interim becomes a mandatory in a negociation

    Money aside, and I'm not saying this to upset any Canelo fans, I think Canelo is afraid to fight GGG. Not because he is afraid of getting hurt. Because he knows it will expose his vulnerability, his supposed and professed invincibility. Canelo simply is not as good as GGG. Anyone can be beaten but for Canelo to beat GGG he would have to fight the perfect fight, move, not get caught and counter effectively. I just don't see that happening and I think there is a good probability Canelo gets KO'd and Canelo knows it, as does DLH. Not willing to serve up the goose laying the golden eggs....just yet. I will predict Canelo gets KO'd if they meet within the next 12 months. GGG is too big and too powerful.

    I fail to see the hypocrisy. Canelo holding the lineal title isn't somebodies claim, it's a fact. Jacobs doesn't hold the WBA Super and never has. He also never held the Regular title while the Super title was vacant. He isn't a world champion.

    El Pollo had the middleweight title and would not defend it against a middleweight, enough said.

    Golovkin is the real WBA champion, that's why he is called the WBA super middleweight champion. Jacobs refused to fight Golovkin some time back and it appears that he does not want that fight now. Golovkin said he would fight Jacobs if Jacobs would agree to fight him, but Jacobs is refusing to do such................the WBA regular title is not the top title, it's more of a mandatory fight..............Golovkin deserves the champion's share............

    Now, who here believes that the Haymon would bid 12+ millions just to meet Jacobs' minimum purse demands?
