    • Press the action, created action, came forward all night
    • Landed the more telling, damaging shots (gave Danny the Tranny Eyes)
    • Registered a knockdown
    • Slipped, rolled, and bounced a lot of punches w/ his shoulders/forearms
    • Face was barely marked up
    This content is protected

    • Moved and boxed off the backfoot and was being as negative as possible w/ random spurts of offense here and there
    • Never hurt Golovkin
    • Knocked down and visibly hurt a handful of times in the contest
    • Was given Tranny Eyes by Golovkin
The fight wasn't close. Golovkin did more. Way more. It was competitive, however, because Jacobs had some success when he decided to engage. Even a draw for Jacobs would be a robbery.

You base this on what? Jacobs never hurt him. Jacobs didn't knock him down. Jacobs didn't land more.

Golovkin won, but it was indeed competitive and close.

It's abudantly clear people were giving Jacobs rounds for not dying. Seeing as only a few press scores thought Jacobs actually won.

Worthy of a rematch later on down the road fo sho. I have no problem Jacobs putting on all that weight on fight night, he risked fading down the stretch with the added weight, but handled it very well. Both made more fans that night, both deserve respect. #1 vs #2 and it looked that way, by no means a mismatch.

Agreed, it was a good MW fight by two evenly matched fighters.

Isn't OP the one who scored Broner Granados 115-113 for Granados even though it was only a 10 round fight?

Pure rubbish. The fight was close. I had it even, the difference being the knockdown, that really seemed like a trip, via Golovkin stepping on Jacobs foot.

Jacobs of course deserves credit for surviving Golovkin and indeed, his reputation is enhanced even in defeat. He lost the fight though and one criticism you could make was he didn't try hard enough to win. A future rematch at 168 could very well happen in the not to distant future.
