Yup, that guy can still go a LONG way.

Great ability and still young.

 

Golovkin has very good defense, look he slipped all the punches in that first round. I don't think that he got hit even once. He is an underground fighter like Valero was with a lot of rumors about him destroying people in sparing and scaring them away from the gym. He was a very good amateur fighter. While Lemieux was only hype I think that G. is the real deal. Only time will tell obviously

 

Thanks for debating mate. My judgment of Golovkin was maybe inaccurate. I can tell you Lemieux is not just hype even if I don't know if he'll make the top.

 

No problem I'm on the other side of Canada in Vancouver. No boxing in here unfortunately you have better fighting scene on the east side. Lemieux is a good fighter but he has to work on his boxing and stamina...

Before, Lemieux looked chubby at MW. If you watch him tonight, you'll see he's fit. The wake up call may have worked.

 

Looked a lot like his KO of Lucien Bute earlier.

 

Golovkin has a slight build for a short middleweight. :huh
