Golovkin's lack of urgency

  1. He did it on purpose to lure Canelo and Saunders

  2. Jacobs just fought a good fight

Was he enticing Canelo and Saunders by going 12 with Jacobs and looking average or was he befuddled by Jacobs movement?

Both, Jacobs fought the fight he wanted, did quite well even if it was a lil bit spoilerish. Golovkin definitely did not look that interested.

Jacobs not getting enough credit for making GGG look like that. We saw Brook do it for 1/3 of a fight. Jacobs did it for a whole fight.

I had Jacobs winning that fight, only because he dwarfed GGG.
That was like a MW vs a LHW, Jacobs deserved to lose because he obviously cheated before the fight even started.

Canelo dosen't have the speed, reach or movement of Jacobs. GGG still destroys Canelo.

I was thinking that in the last few rounds. It was a little of both I think.

To be fair, Brook did it for a whole round, Jacobs did it in small spurts.

He didn't want to KO him.... he said I couldn't destroy him... I really believe him.. he felt sorry for him with his history and all...

I think he did it in more than spurts. It was GGG who fought in spurts in my opinion. Anyway, I was wrong about Kovalev and now with Jacobs. It's boxing. Close fights can go either way. I just hope the dumb biased American judging arguments can be put to rest now.

This. GGG fans need to stop trying to make excuses for when GGG is hit or doesn't win convincingly.

Brook for his size did very well. Now a full blown skillful middleweight went one step further.

honestly, i think the plan was to showcase ggg's skill by outboxing jacobs. jacobs is just too long and too fast for ggg to beat from a distance. he should have started pressuring hard from the get go, jacobs was breathing like a drowning man in the championship rds. i believe this is a case of a fighter fighting the fight of his life, vs a guy who fought down to his opposition.

    GGG landed more punches
    GGG knocked Jacobs to canvas
GGG hurt Jacobs while Jacobs never hurt GGG

    It was a robbery?

    Clearly,

Close fights when your guy loses = ROBBERY!
