You are the guy who says that the last shot Ward landed which was.wayyy below the belt was legal and that the ref was right in stopping the fight. As for the first fight between Ward and Kov, I don't recall saying anything about Kov having won. But maybe I did. Not sure. In any case if I did I wouldn't be the only one who saw it that way as I'm not the only one who saw Canelo winning this one.
Indeed. Although I would interject that Alvarez's punches were not "more" effective as it relates to the fight itself. The judges credited his offense more than GGG...we can speculate there was favoritism for the Golden Boy promoted boxer or they were more impressed by the flashiness of Canelo's delivery, but GGG's offense was clearly more effective as he was able control most of the action inside the ring.
Absolutely....Floyd was able to force his opponents to fight his fight 99% of the time. Case in point.....Manny is a high volume, pressure fighter...Floyd was able to curb Pac's output dramatically which indicates Manny was relegated to fighting Floyd's fight...not the other way around. There is no double standard. Boxing is a science. You can quantify a boxers success inside the ring many different ways. The reason Floyd was the ring General in almost all of his fights was specifically due to the ability to control the action. GGG controlled the action in his fight against Alvarez. Nelo wasn't successful in forcing Golovkin to fight his fight like he was able to do in his fights with Kirkland, Khan and Liam. There's a stark contrast in how Alvarez typically fights when he controls the action vs how he was controlled in his match up with GGG. Who is MA?
Give it a rest weird ears guy. This is your upteenth thread to try to change public opinion that GGG won. No one is buying it.
I rewatched it again for the second time and I still thought Canelo won the fight 7-5.. I score cleaner punching and defense over jabs...
