    I don't enjoy any sports except judo, boxing and soccer, watching that is. The rest...meh. If push comes to shove and I have to chose, I will cheer for a Canadian team over a Russian team any day (except maple leafs, I never cheered for those professional losers).

    Canada is not as friendly as you would think though, especially on the east. The french are *****S to most of Canada, and alot of eastern canadians are sick of their attitude. Supporting the french (especially in ontario) is like supporting the habs if you are a leafs fan....aka, unheard of.

    yup, that's exactly what I said. They like you if you speak french. If you don't, they are unbearable.

    Going, sec. 104, driving up from Montreal with my 15 year old son and brother, should be a great time in the big apple!!!!

    Always two sides to a story... Ontario whines that they can't get service in English when they drive through QC, but it's the same concept the other way around. There's bigots on both sides. Last month I saw two guys from QC getting treated like shyt at an ice cream stand in Wasaga ("speak Canadian, ok?") in front of families, pretty low. And you'll see that stuff in QC too with the roles reversed, so it's never gonna end or be perfect. I just happen to be the guy stuck in the middle of all this, being born and raised in QC but living in ON since 2003.

    I have been to Quebec and Ontario on many occasions and have never had a problem in either Province.In fact I was transferred to Toronto for a year and a half at one point before moving back home to NYC.Initially I flew back to NY each weekend but after a few months of this I started to spend the weekends in Toronto and enjoyed my time there and have a number of good friends there now.I find most Canadians to be most polite and friendly which included Quebec and I especially love Quebec City.:thumbsup
