Well Hopkins lost to Jones and never fought Toney or Nunn. All those guys would beat Jacobs. But Hopkins didn't beat them.

DLH and Tito are p4p better fighters than Jacobs. H2H Jacob's stops them though. He's too big and too strong for them. Jacobs isn't the greatest fighter ever, but he punches harder than Hopkins. If Bernard can stop Welterweights than Jacobs can too.

Bro you said GGG was going to smash Jacobs, now all of a sudden you want to praise him as such a great win? If anything jacobs proved how overrated GGG was.

Quote my post. ;) I'm not like you Canelita crack sniffers who are unable of objectively assessing a matchup. I guarantee that I was more nuanced than that by a long shot.

And that was a noob Abraham with 16 (sixteen) fights under his belt and Eastman was 40-2 at the time. Murray took a seasoned Abraham to the brink, and now some doofuses want to pretend Eastman schools Murray

Well , Arthur was a good MW who was avoided by Felix Sturm so there's no shame in that. . Isn't Golovkin's legacy based around not getting a fight with Felix Sturm?
Sturm passed on a career high pay day to avoid King Arthur. Thats a real duck. Avoiding some unknown guy from Kazakhstan who would have earned Sturm peanuts can hardly be called a duck at all.

Plus , Eastman vs prime Arthur was a close fight that could have gone either way. One of GGGs best wins couldn't even beat a shot to bits Arthur. The same Arthur that lost every min of every round against Eubanks. LOLOL.

Eastman was better than club boxers like Murray , Wade and Geale easily . Most GGGs fanbots probably don't even know what Howard Eastman looks like.

Geale was a unified champ Eastman lost vs unskilled slugger like Abraham, Miranda and even Duddy

Geale pulled a title off a well past it Sturm , who in his prime was savaged by Javier Castillejo who was well past prime.

Javier in his prime at his best weight lost to Hoya and Hoya was pasted out by Hopkins.

TE="BCS8, post: 18837043, member: 94822"]I genuinely thought Jacobs was a glass cannon. High skills, high power, small heart, small chin.

    I was wrong.

    Also, Jacobs > Canelo.[/QUOTE]

Soweey dude you dont get to praise Jacobs as a great win when you thought he was going to get smoked. Jacobs isnt that good really, but he showed how overrated GGG was.

Funny how after he was meant to get destroyed in 3 rounds, Jacobs went from bum to the second coming of SRR overnight.

The Eastman-Abraham fight wasn't close. You're just talking out of your keyster. Eastman clearly lost, he was holding on for dear life at the end of the fight. Another Abraham opponent, Ian Gardner also took Abraham the distance and lost to a young GGG. But I'm sure that win means nothing.

You are way overrating Eastman. He never beat anybody good and lost to some scrubs himself. If Eastman is your example of a great Hopkins win, I think you might need to re-evaluate Hopkins resume.
