Arthur Abraham was written off as a past it fighter back in 2011 when he was eliminated from the Super 6.

Right after he beat Murray , he was completely embarrassed by Berto Ramirez. Arthur was shot 100%. Im beginning to think that you don't follow this sport very closely.

Ive already detailed why Eastman is a better win than Murray. You haven't made any argument at all as to why Murray is a better win.

You just searched through 3 years of my posting history to find that comment . You should be embarrassed for yourself , not me.

Abraham wasn't written off. He lost to two of the best fighters in the sport, there was no shame in that. I don't know why we are talking about Abraham though, he isn't better than Golovkin.

Berto Ramirez is very good, better than Murray at this point. I never said otherwise. Arthur would have lost to him in his prime too (especially at SMW were AA wasn't as effective as he was at MW). Styles make fights, it doesn't mean AA was completely shot.

Eastman is not a better win, arguably beating Sturm and Martinez is better than anything Eastman accomplished in his career.

Froch was also thought to be past prime after his two loses in the Super 6 , hence why he was such a massive underdog going into the Bute fight.

The manner in which Arthur lost to Froch and Ward made people feel he no longer had anything left. He was past it at that stage , but he was totally shot by the time he lost by shut out to Ramirez and Eubanks.
It took him a second fight to beat Paul Smith convincingly. He was washed up when he fought the the same Murray who fought GGG and Murray still couldn't beat him.

Losing to a faded Sturm and a shot to bits Martinez is not greater than being a dominant European champ with a number of decent wins under his belt. Eastman was a much more prolific and accomplished British , commonwealth and European champ than Murray who himself was never a European champ.

If loses bloster a resume than Eastman losing to Hopkins is better than losing to an injured Martinez . Running prime Arthur close is better than drawing with a faded Sturm who flat out ducked Arthur
Eastman is a better win. Better accomplishments and a better overall body of work.

He wasn't past it what so ever. Very solid fighter in 2011. The Froch fight Froch kept it long and fought the perfect fight

    Jesus.

Who in the world did Eastman beat? Sam Soliman who was in his 16th professional fight with 4 losses already? He was beaten any time he stepped up. He was a solid fighter but had a padded record until he got a shot at Hopkins, then dropped 3 straight and was never relevant again.

Murray has been on the wrong side of a few decisions. People tend to forget there are only 3 judges. So because 2 or 3 judges think you lost, we should just go to Boxrec and not even bring context into the situation? Murray could very easily have been given the decisions against Sturm, Martinez, and Abraham. He also was effective at SMW.

No, those decisions don't count because Martinez was crippled, Sturm was not good, and Abraham was shot. Yet, beating the great Sam Soliman elevates Eastman to being HOF worthy.

Also, the good wins on Eastman's record Murray would have beaten too, probably even easier than Eastman.

I have to assume that you weren't following the sport at the time if you think that. He looked bad when he labored to a points win against Piotr Wilczewski in his comeback fight.
The consensus within the boxing world was that he was done at top level. This was years before he beat Murray.

Yeah , the same Soliman who beat Sturm without controversy shortly after the Murray fight.

Bashing Eastman doesn't make any argument for Murray being better. Who did Murray actually beat?

There is a reason I cited "Soliman being in his 16th pro fight" vs. Eastman being in his 30th. Plenty of guys have losses early on in their career. Soliman was a solid fighter and was undefeated for 4 years until losing to Winky Wright in a competitive fight. That was his prime. Plenty of guys have losses early in their career.

Like I said, Murray has an argument beating Abraham, Martinez, and Sturm. I thought the Martinez fight was a kind of a robbery. But since we aren't providing context here, I would say his best win is either Bursak, Rosado, or Spada.

I know your response will mock those names, but Murray has proven to be a good fighter. I'm not going to count it against him when he fought Martinez in Argentina, Sturm in Germany, and Abraham in Germany. He very well could be a multiple time, multiple weight world champion.
