The two iconic boxers of the century are expected to hang up their gloves in the next year or two. Now, as the curtain falls on their career, people are looking for the new ‘Big Cash Cow’ in the industry. The Kazakh slugger, Gennady Golovkin is being labelled as the new ‘Promised Son’ of the boxing world, but who will be the antagonist in this story?

What do you guys think who is the real king of the ring?

Tell me what the lowest weight and then highest weight that Mayweather has ever competed at?

Then tell me what the lowest weight and then highest weight that Golovkin has ever competed at?

This article does seem amateurish :| Anywho "God of War" is a phrase that doesn't suit Mayweather because he's more of a tactician then someone who goes for the kill. "Master of Puppets" is perhaps a better title for him :D

Golovkin is the God of War, Floyd is the God of Bore these days.

Point taken. But correct me if I am wrong. Duran had not competed above 154 (same as Floyd) when he fought Marvin who had never competed above or below 160 (same as GGG).

god's of war are warriors who go out and conquer. those who just fight in their turf are only great defenders.

I've always wondered if any of the anti-Mayweather posters here remember him from his 130 days?

Which is why nobody really rates Hagler's win over Duran remotely close to what one would associate "beating Roberto Duran" with.
