As time goes on I'm seeing brook as a bigger threat. Brook by far beats anyone on GGG's resume, weight is not going to be an issue and brook has incredible boxing skills.

If GGG loses... the superfight between Canelo and GGG will lose all of it's hype.

thats funny, the more i watch these 2, the more obvious it is to me that brook is hopelessly out of his league.

    Yeah, no ****, HUH?

I am also of the distinct impression that if the Sun implodes tomorrow we are all in deep trouble.

    This.

Brook is obviously a lot bigger than we thought, and he's clearly got bals of steel. But it's the first time he's fighting at such a high weight and against a savage puncher like Golovkin. I just can't see how he has a chance.

Yes I hate to agree but think brook is going to get taken apart in short order.I don't think he's quick enough To run or hard hitting enough to keep GGG off him I hope iam wrong but brook is in deep.

If we're basing this on skills alone, yeah Brook beats GGG opponents, but based on him not being a natural MW, the power of guys like Stevens and Lemieux means they'd probably walk right through him and KO him.

As far as the TS's original point......no s***.

GGG needs to STOP Brook...not just outbox him. Canelo's outing was against Khan, who is not as good as Brook (as far as we know). But, he made it clear that Khan had no business at the weight, with a savage KO. If Brook goes 12 and makes it a close fight, GGG's aura of invisibility is dead in the water.

i agree. im pretty high on ggg, for no other reason than the complete dominance he shows over his opponents. most of the posters who dont think ggg is a great boxer, are just going on what they read and hear, and want to agree with, not what they understand. what ggg does in the ring, technically, is beyond what most other boxers are capable of. because of his mastery over his center of gravity, he can hurt you with many more different punches, from many more different angles. it would take a full page for me to go into detail about everything i see.
bottom line, if ggg cant put brook away, he is not near the fighter i think he is.

This is a lose/lose for GGG... He will be under the microscope any imperfection or slight edge Brook gets on him will have people talking sh*t about slippage. (I'll be looking harder than a jail bunk bed for shut to talk)

Agreed. I have my criticisms of him being tested, and certain hypocritical moves I feel his team has made. But, he passes the eye test. I recall seeing him throw a shot downward on someone, can't recall whom it was. It was Rubio maybe. And it was the weirdest punch I have seen. Yet, he knocked the guy down with it or hurt him badly, can't recall. But, it was very creative; because, there were no other openings to the head at that moment. It's like he just made that up. Now, most would have tapped the body to open up the head. But, he took an unorthodox shortcut.

Agreed, take them by suprise, it's the last thing Brooks team will be expecting.
