Golovkin despite being out of prime still beat Canelo with ease in the first fight

Golovkin will be 36 by the time he fights canelo again and canelo will still be in his best prime time

Golovkin needs to do what he did in the last fight but apply more pressure he will not get anther chance

He needs to knock him out!

Gennady shouldn’t have agreed to fight Canelo in Vegas. Why??? He’s THE CHAMP. Pull a Ward and stack the deck in your favor for once dude! Come on! Other fighters made careers of that.

I stand by my previous prediction. GGG only wins by T/KO or Canelo by decision.

GGG is too wary to go to the body against talented heavy hitters (ala Jacobs and Canelo I)
    Canelo took GGGs best shots
Canelo won 5 rounds in the first fight on my card
All he has to do is win 1 more round and he gets the W on the cards

I agree Todd but it ain't about belts. It's about money. Fact is that Golovkin could care less about the robbery because these 2 fights alone will gross Golovkin more money than the rest of his career combined

Right back to the scene of the crime. Bob Bennett will probably have Adelade Byrd back from suspension to judge the rematch again.

I am not conviced that Alvarez can fight any better than he did in the first fight. He fought extremely well and was very impressive, but oddly enough, I think GGG had room to improve.

I had GGG winning the first by 2 rounds

I'm convinced that a more acclimated, younger Canelo in the prime of his boxing career and a true student of the sport can make the slight adjustments needed to come out victorious. While Golovkin is also capable of making adjustments, I don't see them playing a factor in the rematch. For 1. GGG's success came when Canelo clearly took his foot off the gas pedal, not because he was necessarily doing anything different. When Canelo got his 2nd wind in the championship rounds he once again started landing the more telling punches more consistently. Golovkin didn't land a single body shot, he also didn't stop from following Canelo around the ring with his chin exposed, and when he did get to engage Canelo on the ropes, he conformed to just scoring punches with not much mustard behind them in fear of getting countered.

If GGG opens up more, it will give the faster more compact fighter more opportunities to score his power counter punches.

Your scoring Canelo - Floyd a draw certainly lessen the case you're making here (and any other Canelo related things that come ou of your mouth).

How about you refute what I just posted instead of trying to divert. ;)

There's no point talking about Canelo with someone who thinks a draw against Mayweather would have been legit. ;-)
