So its your assertion that Canelo is a big middleweight who serverly dehydrates himself to get down to 154/155.

My opinion is that Canelo is sacrificing to make 155 lbs, the proof is in his stamina and the lack of confidence he has in himself to step on the accelerator late in fights.
I think him having to make 155 is hindering him and GGG may have missed out on a golden opportunity to make Canelo pay for such severe dehydration.

I think GGG is right, he's not a big middleweight himself and he probably makes 155 lbs easier than Canelo makes it.

It's been clear for awhile the guy doesn't want to do what it takes to be great. But, then people want to cry hate when you say it. The guy wanted to force Edwin Rodriquez down to 164 FFS.

He is the goods, but, the guy is satisfied with mediocrity.

GGG is committing extortion as a confidence man. promising the world delivering nothing. and getting paid well for it.. if people want to pay for that go for it.

I will not pay a single cent for that fraud.

He probably can make 155. But he believes a title should be able to be faced at the limit.

Once upon a time, I recall posters saying title fights should be held at the limit and not at catchweights. How things have changed I guess. :huh

The train is going to leave the station if GGG wants to stand by his personal beliefs.
In boxing, politics rule, GGG is going to have to learn to acclamate himself to it.

And so will the fans huh?

Now a days we have to accept that politics and business rule the day, and this is less a sport then it is a moneymaking business for a select few w/ connections.

We have to accept that any top fighter will probably only face one tough challenge each year how as well.

While there's some truth to what you are saying, it's still total dogsh*t.

Fugg it... calling a "Quack" vs. Zurdo & giving Gil a pretend win like all of GEE's best fantasy "what if" match-ups.

i think gee's best fantasy "what if" match up, was the one against the last guy to hold his lineal title... then laid it at his feet with a little whimper.

    :good Good summation !!!

;) I might remind you that Canelo/GBP had agreed to a "MANDATORY BOUT" with GGG before all the "Catch Weight" nonsense started.

IMO... GGG was on firm ground with holding to the middleweight 160lb. weight limit. The WBC ruled in GGG's favor, forcing Canelo to give up the belt.
